After the solo success of Albert Hammond Jr.’s two albums, and Julian Casablancas‘ soundtrack to the cool guy world (”My Drive Thru”), drummer Fabrizio Moretti is the next Strokes member to do his own thing. His new album Little Joy is a collaboration with Brazilian vocalist/guitarist Rodrigo Amarante from the band Los Hermanos. As it stands, the Strokes are still on their extensive break until their follow-up to First Impressions Of Earth. For now, you can dig your teeth in to this single from Moretti’s joint, due November 4th on Rough Trade Records.
