Let’s wind the clock back to October 2007 when Kid Cudi was newly signed to A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold label. Hip-hop’s fresh face was steady developing a cult-following through songs like “Dat New New,” “Day and Night” and a freestyle over Justin Timberlake’s “Love Stoned.” A few other tracks popped up on his MySpace page, like the stellar “Super Boo,” which was expected to appear on his mixtape banger, A Kid Named Cudi. It didn’t make the cut, but here it is in all its splendor.
