‘The Beer Book’ Arrives Just In Time For Oktoberfest

With Oktoberfest poppin’ off in Munich right now (yeah, we don’t know why it starts in September either), our thoughts turn to oat sodas a.k.a. grog a.k.a. beer. And just in time to sate our steins with the suds comes “The Beer Book,” a 350-page plus guide to the best ales, lagers, porters and stouts from across the world.
Edited by Tim Hampson and published by DK, “The Beer Book” features profiles of over 1,700 varietals and with its lush, colorful photography, looks like brew-porn for the “Cheers” set.
