A Look Back At Summer 2008’s Best Sneakers

NAME: NIKE HYPERDUNK MARTY MCFLY
RELEASE MONTH: July
COMPLEX SAYS: After years of online petitions and Nike Talk threads, the swoosh gave sneaker nerds a taste of Marty McFly (ayo!) on their new super-technical b-ball sneaker. The low-run colorway caused long lines outside of UNDFTD, and eBay sellers became rubber band men.

NAME: AIR JORDAN IV
RELEASE MONTH: July
COMPLEX SAYS: The O.G colorway of the IVs made people who hated on countdown packs immediately flip-flop. A lot of paper was parted with, and in closets everywhere the 19 is collecting dust.

NAME: ALIFE KENNEDY HI
RELEASE MONTH:June
COMPLEX SAYS: Courtyard sessions are the illest thing to do on a Sunday in the summer, and thanks to these Wallabees, don't be surprised if Ghostface starts politickin' on Rivington St. Think Clarks is scurred?

NAME: VANS SYNDICATE x W(TAPS) BASH
RELEASE MONTH: July
COMPLEX SAYS:This Jordan-inspired three pack notched the Syndicate line's first W of the season. Don't expect the premium chapter of the brand to slow down this fall.

personal favorite is the air max 90 current(free X am90 hybrid). It performs better than the original while maintaining the freshness IMO.

i have to agree with jason and miguel. how can you not have the CARMINES and HARES on your list.and no PENNY 2’s either. you got to be on one or have altzimers or something to leave three classics like this off your list.
