A Look Back At Summer 2008’s Best Sneakers

When it came to sneakers this summer, there was no drought in solid releases. Nike used the Olympics to hype up a bunch of new models, there were a gang of dope collaborative sneakers, and all the majors stepped their shit up. Needless to say, sneakerheads felt the effects of the recession early.
With summer officially over (Sept 21 was the last day), we compiled a list of 16 sneakers (in no particular order) that we felt were the strongest to release during the warm-weather months. If you passed on any all of these, you’re probably kicking yourself harder than the time you got an STD from that fake-and-bake chick you met at the Jersey Shore. Check out the list and leave us a comment about your favorites from this season.

What about the HARES !???

personal favorite is the air max 90 current(free X am90 hybrid). It performs better than the original while maintaining the freshness IMO.

i have to agree with jason and miguel. how can you not have the CARMINES and HARES on your list.and no PENNY 2’s either. you got to be on one or have altzimers or something to leave three classics like this off your list.
