Just one year after dropping arguably the biggest dancehall album of last year (sorry Shaggy), Mavado re-ups with a more light-hearted album titled after his last name. The first single, “So Blessed” follows the path of most new artists who enjoy commercial success on their debut and basically coast their way through their sophomore effort with a sunnier disposition. Mavado’s reflection of 2007 ’til now is no different. Check for it at the top of ‘09.
