Ne-Yo (along with Rihanna) is helping to keep the lights on at Def Jam. The writer of all R&B writers keeps on churning out hits that hark back to when Mike Jack ruled the dancefloor (Thriller, Off The Wall). But this mid-tempo burner didn’t make the cut. It ain’t “Closer” but it’s close enough.
