Who Is Soulja Boy’s White Rapper?

While promoting his sneaker brand Yums at the MAGIC trade show in August, Soulja Boy took a minute out to introduce White Tee, the first white rapper signed to his burgeoning label Stacks On Deck Entertainment.
You probably had the same reaction that we did: who the fuck is White Tee? He doesn’t have an internet following like SB did, he doesn’t have a song on the radio, and he doesn’t have a mixtape out. So who is White Tee and where did he come from? Complex did a little digging, and here’s what we found…

White Tee is actually a young man named Taylor Leach from Arlington, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. Here he is hitting a grand slam in a 2007 baseball game while finishing his senior year at Lamar High School:
Before going by White Tee, Taylor rapped under the name “Taylorachi.” Back in 2006, he released a few songs on the internet with a friend named Lil’ Weenus. Check out some of their early music:
Taylorachi & Lil’ Weenus “That’s Official”
Taylorachi & Lil’ Weenus “Penguins Are So Fly”
Taylorachi & Lil’ Weenus “Click Yo Heels Back”
Taylorachi & Lil’ Weenus “We Talk Through Movies”
Nowadays, Taylor attends Western Texas College in Snyder, TX.
Here he is giving a tour of his dorm room:
In addition to rapping, Taylor has also been making moves in the web design world. After starting a company called Aero9 Media, he has designed sites for Rudebwoy Entertainment (home to Dallas rapper Lil Wil), Yums (a sneaker company from his hometown Arlington) and Stacks On Deck (Soulja Boy’s crew/social networking site). We’re assuming that he and Soulja Boy first met through his work as a web designer. Here’s a video of Taylor attempting to learn the “My Dougie” dance from Lil’ Spain in the Yums office back in January:
In July, Taylor got his first bit of web fame when he appeared in Soulja Boy’s web video “iPhone Tricks Part 1.” In the video, Soulja Boy refers to him as “my favorite white boy” and “Taylor.” It’s not until the end that he jokingly calls him “White Tee,” a name which has apparently stuck since then:
At the end of August, Soulja Boy and White Tee both traveled to Las Vegas to promote Yums at MAGIC. Here’s the video of SB officially introducing White Tee as a member of Stacks On Deck:
The song played in the above video is called “Booty Meat,” which is apparently White Tee’s first single. Listen to a preview of it below.

So there you have it. Will Soulja Boy be able to turn his web designer into a successful rapper? Leave a comment below and let us know what you think.

ShockAwe September 15, 2008 at 4:05 pm
That Booty Meat shit sounds like Corky Thatcher went on the auto-tune.
pancakes September 15, 2008 at 4:26 pm
no disrespect to fabo, but “booty meat” is one of the greatest ode to bums of all time. [this is where sir-mix-a-lot pulls an ice-t]
Fred Savage September 15, 2008 at 4:37 pm
the saddest part is that Soulja Boy already put out a song called “booty meat” last year.
Peter Fallow September 15, 2008 at 4:44 pm
First off ::round of applause:: for this post.
Second: Maybe Ice-T should of smacked the shit outta Soulja Boy after all.

DeShawn Stevenson September 15, 2008 at 4:48 pm
also we should retire the phrase “booty meat” after the whole superhead-big tigger incident

this reminds me of the legions of youtube videos of random white suburban kids acting real white to rap songs. ‘cept this kid has a deal? oh man. is it possible to have negative swagger? what “dirty south” is this cracker from?

When Soulja Boy became famous this guy could get famous, it’s all about corrupting the minds of the youth.
I will NOT be surpirised if this wack ass guy becomes famous. Not famous because he is so bad, but famous because people will actually think it is good.
First I laughed abit when I saw this, then I cried abit and then I died abit :(
On a serious note though, this guy is pretty much on the same level as Soulja Boy, true story.
P023 September 15, 2008 at 5:45 pm
I’m not sure what Soulja Boy’s intension with all this is. I mean, the poor guy is just embarassing himself.
What I don’t get is why Soulja Boy would invite this guy to his ‘crew’ and try make him a rapper. Maybe it is just that simple that Soulja Boy is a confused teenager and can’t see/hear that the guy can’t rap because himself is just like him or it’s some trick to all of this.
Either he tries to make the white guy look even more dumb when they try to rap, there are already tons of already made up thoughts about white rappers, we don’t want more of that.
I’m so confused about this.

2003? Try 2006. 28? Try, freshly 18.
Maybe it’s just a joke. You know how SB likes to play them internet games.

truth September 30, 2008 at 2:45 am
i actually know both white tee and lil weenus. (taylor and wade). wade was just playin around with his “rapper” name. none of their old songs were meant to be serious. they actually recorded them on his Mac computer. booty meat, however is meant to be a serious effort at trying to get his foot inside the door. who can blame white tee? listen to the final version of booty meat. it’s pretty legit compared to most of the crap that rappers are putting out there nowadays. try checking your sources before you judge someone. most of the videos above were taken outa context. white tee is legit and dont blame him for networking and taking a shot. at least he is trying. he probably learned all about not quitting when he played baseball for Lamar High School in Agtown. its where he learned to drop bombs like barry bonds.
