After watching him play a sex-crazed writer on Californication so convincingly, it should come as no surprise that David Duchovny recently hit rehab for his real-life sex addiction.
According to an old Dateline report, over 16 million men and women suffer from sex addiction, yet celebs seem to be the most at-risk population. But really, though: wouldn’t any man with money, fame, and unlimited access to bangable chicks become addicted to sex at some point? We did a little research, and found this fascinating tidbit: “Pornography, combined with regular masturbation, is the cornerstone for most sex addicts.” Fuck! Even us regular Joe’s may be in trouble.
Far be it from us to make light of celebrity missteps, but we’ve compiled a list of famous sex addicts'not for us to laugh at, but for us to learn from. Pay attention.

You can’t have your cake and eat it too. You can’t have tons of loot, fame, and a hot wife that probably attracts more hot women to come your way, and not be addicted to a little on the side booty meat. It would easy for an average joe to past judgement on a lifestyle that he just can’t understand. The “Sex Addiction” conversation is designed for little guys like me to get my hate on. I won’t do it. To all those addicts out there I say “Get her done!”

DD has always been a sex freak. It was he who wrote the Mulder byline “Nothing to do but go home and watch some good porn” into X-files. When he hooked up with Tea he found his sexual match. I guess things kinda dried up down there and he moved on to porn stars for real.

Sex addition is bull-crap. “Pornography, combined with regular masturbation, is the cornerstone for most sex addicts.†More Bull-crap At least men admit to it (Hello Ernest Borgy), women on the other hand are still in denial about them and their toys. Fact is;
” Men who frequently masturbate appear to have a lower risk of developing prostate cancer, Australian researchers reported.
Researchers from the Cancer Council of Victoria found that men who masturbated more than five times each week were one-third less likely to develop the cancer.
The study surveyed 1,000 men who developed prostate cancer and 1,250 who did not, and all were between the ages of 20 and 50″
So essentially it promotes blood flow to our nether-regions and aids in cancer reduction and since the medicos say it prevents and helps my health? F**k, I’ll keep spanking till I’m 90!

Is it me or is this show sort of gross? I think the idea of such perversion is over done and over rated.
As for David’s real life issues…its lame! Give us all a break!
People are too weak in America. Everyone wants to be in rehab for something, but no one really wants to take responsibility for their behavior. Here is this rich successful actor, who should consider himself to be incredibility lucky that he has made any money at all, and he’s embarrassing his wife and kids with this stupidity!
It seems to me that sex addiction is generally a farce. Let’s face it, without drugs sex is often boring and it takes a lot of work to keep a relationship going. The human body is full of odors, hair, imperfections and the real thing is fun yes, and hopefully enjoyable, but often way better in someone’s mind. People make too much of it, like it’s so important, but it’s like everything else…cyclical.
