NYC TAXI (FORD CROWN VICTORIA)
In what may be the most gangster/genius undercover system ever, the NYPD has been disguising their Crown Vic cop cars as regular NYC yellow cabs. They look exactly like your everyday taxi cab, except for when they’re after you and the lights in the grill and tail lights start flashing. We’ve seen a number of people get got by these boys in blue and yellow (should we call ‘em Carmello’s?). All we can say is, watch out.

It should be said that some of these, such as the Brabus and Gallardo are not actual patrol cars. They are mostly promotional vehicles for certain causes that police agencies support, such as Arrive Alive. Some are even rented/donated for a single event and then repainted afterwords.
