Ford didn’t always run the domestic cop car game. Chrysler used to run shit with their rear wheel drive, V8 powered sedans. Remember the Dodge Monaco in the Blues Brothers? But all that came to a halt in 1989. Then in 2006 Chrysler introduced their Hemi powered police versions of the Dodge Charger and Magnum. Cops rejoiced, felons contemplated career changes.

It should be said that some of these, such as the Brabus and Gallardo are not actual patrol cars. They are mostly promotional vehicles for certain causes that police agencies support, such as Arrive Alive. Some are even rented/donated for a single event and then repainted afterwords.
