Jeff Staple Breathes New Life Into Starter

The first time we heavily jocked Starter was in middle school'everyone knows the cool kids wore the brightly-colored Miami Dolphins pullover jacket. Then a couple years ago it seems everyone topped off their look with vintage Starter snap-back baseball caps.
Now, pigeon-peddler Jeff Staple is giving the O.G. NFL apparel line a fresh re-design dubbed “Starter Black Label” that will be dropping this fall. The collection features buttery satin bombers, t-shirts, and caps all in your favorite NFL team colorways like Raider Black, Notre Navy, and Dolphin Orange. These are a little more reserved than the crazy kangaroo-pocket pullovers you rocked in 8th grade, but they’ll still satisfy your craving for that star logo. Yeah, Back in 89′ Starter Jackets were the shit. I rocked a couple of teams. Then the Champion brand got hot, and Starter fell off. I might cop a new just for nostalgia sake.

This are lame… I never once had a single starter item that actually said “Starter” on it, they all had teams logo and then the little S star starter logo. Where are the team names?? Why do I want Starter on my chest? What am I starting?

and not only that, i don’t see the familiar Starter S “star” logo anywhere? what kind of basic type of font is that?

The first pin stripe is nice but the rest…? The colors and the material are cool but like DeShawn said, the font, he could have atleast tracked or kerned the font. Something. But that “STARTER” is just a little too stiff to be impressive. it’s aaaiiight.

Pinstripes are very Mafia but this needs to be put in the fashion protection program. I didn’t know I could buy xerox paper and buy fashion uglies in the same store.
