Anne Colombo’s Fire Sculptures Bring The Heat

When the holidays roll around, we all want to roast our chestnuts on an open fire. Or at least get some nookie by the flames. Since not all homes are built with old school fireplaces, Anne Colombo’s sculptures could be a quick fix. Colombo spearheads a Brooklyn-based construction company (CCC) that deals with producing sculptures based on the theme water, wind, and fire.
Her tag-line “restore the earth as a ceremonial place and as a point of convergence” sounds like some cheesy Captain Planet shit, but if you’ve got paper between $4000 and $85000 to spend, this might be your alternative for embarrassing Costco faux-fireplaces.
