How Does Kim Kardashian Stay Famous?
It would be a waste for anyone with a perfectly proportioned body like Kim Kardashian to hide it from the rest of the world (remember where you saw her first!). Sure, she kicked things off with the sex tape, but that was well over a year ago, and Kimmy’s 15 minutes don’t seem to be ending any time soon.
So how does she do it? The most recent news is that the Persian butter-cream will be putting her assets back to work on the new season of Dancing With The Stars in September. But this is only the latest in a long string of tactics used by Kim. K to steadily build on her initial “scandal.” After the jump, take a look at the top 5 ways that the ass-tastic starlet has remained in the spotlight.
1. Reality TV
The reality show is the centerpiece in any good non-talent-based celebrity’s resumé. Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which put the whole Kardashian Clan in the public eye, returns to the E! network this fall for its third season. Check out this clip from season 2.
2. Movie Cameos
Luckily, acting skills are not required for a wide variety of modern Hollywood movies. The exhausted series of movie parodies (Scary Movie, et al.) continues this time with Kim K., who makes her big screen debut as a cheerleader in Disaster Movie next month.
3. Red Carpet Events
As long as the paparazzi’s are snappin’, Kim will be there. Most recently Kim attended the 40th anniversary party for McDonalds’ Big Mac. How could a party for two pieces of meat, special sauce, in between two fluffy buns be complete without Kimmy making an appearance?
4. Sporting Events
Believe it or not, there are still large portions of America that do not follow every paparazzi flick posted on Perez (i.e. straight men). But Kim’s even got them covered—this past March, she showed she knows how to rock the mic by hosting WWE’s Wrestlemania XXIV in Orlando, FL.
5. Workout Tapes
It might be easy for her fellow women to hate on Kim, but she’s just looking out for their health. Kim worked up a sweat by sexer…ahem, exercising on her first fitness DVD, Kim Kardashian’s Body Beautiful, with trainer Kathy Kaehler.
