The Game & Lil Wayne Get Emo On ‘My Life’

The Game needs to join an emo band. After kicking off his third album L.A.X. with the feel-good hip-hop nostalgia anthem “Game’s Pain,” the Compton rapper is once again beating back the demons on his next single “My Life,” which DJ Haze just premiered.
On the song, which features Lil Wayne’s auto-tune crooning on the hook, Game contemplates suicide and gets into the deterioration of his relationship with Eminem: “All the pictures of me and Em, I burned 'em.” Awww. Listen to “My Life” below.

This leaked version is not the album version, for what it’s worth. It was disavowed by Game earlier this week. He said he didn’t mean to diss ‘Em, just talk about how much he misses Proof, and that when he heard that version he realized people would hear it wrong, and so he’s redone the track.

Game is full of false promises. I thought he was going to resurrect the west. WRONG. Now he’s full of negativity and wack as hell. I CAN’T EVEN LISTEN TO ONE OF HIS SONGS WITHOUT HIM DOING A BIGGE/TUPAC REFERENCE IN THE FIRST MINTUTE!! get over it already. we get it.
