Before Cassie, there was Amerie. You know, the other racially ambiguous model-turned-pop star who turned a million heads. We always had love for the Black/Korean cup of brown sugar, but her old label Columbia dropped her last year after deciding not to release her third album in the US. But now, it seems like she has another shot at success.
Rumors have been circulating for months about the the singer landing a new deal. Well, we just confirmed with sources at the label that Amerie has officially signed to Def Jam.
