2010 Chevy Camaro Finally Revealed

Despite the new age fuel crisis, it’s a pretty good time to be a motorhead. It seems like every car maker is throwing caution to the wind and giving the new generation of enthusiasts the high horsepower rubber burners that they missed out on. One of those cars is the highly anticipated 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. After years of salivating over spy photos and unofficial sightings, the first official images of the production Camaro have been released leaked…
Looking to go head to head with the Ford Mustang and Dodge’s upcoming Challenger, the bow-tie boys resurrected the Camaro and gave it a back to the future feel by staying true to the form and shape of the muscle car legend’s first generation body, but with a 21st century face lift. They carried the true Camaro feel into the interior as well with dials and gauges reminiscent of the 1969 Camaro’s. But it’s what’s under the sheet metal that has everyone’s palm sweatin’. Supposedly, the Camaro will be available in LS, LT and the fully loaded SS trim levels (although the photos have an RS badge on the grill). You’ll be able to get a 296 hp, 3.6-liter V6 or a pavement moving 416 hp 6.2-liter V8 which will feature cylinder deactivation to save you a couple pennies at the pump. And to ensure that the car can maneuver around corners as easily as it flies down drag strips, the Camaro comes with an fully independent suspension setup and StabiliTrak stability control system.
