UNKLE Gets Cinematic On ‘End Titles’
When news broke that Xzibit would be starring in X-Files: I Want To Believe, we got worried that the rapper’s gruff voice would mess up the soundtrack’s spooky vibe. Thankfully, experimental electro-rock duo UNKLE'now made up of James Lavelle and Pablo Clements'provided some dark compositions instead.
After a few years of working on film scores, it should come as no surprise that UNKLE’s fourth album, End Titles…Stories For Film, which drops tomorrow, is inspired by “the moving image.” Leading up to the release of the new album, they leaked four different songs across blogs like Pitchfork and RCRD LBL, all intended to all be played in a specific order as one track.
