Trendhumper: Marching Band Jackets

In this age of extreme individuality, sometimes the situation just calls for a uniform. To match the vague French Revolution theme of their latest album Viva La Vida, Coldplay has been rocking military-inspired marching band-style jackets everywhere they go, from iTunes commercials to magazine covers.

But Chris Martin and company are far from the first ones to try out this look. The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Adam Ant, Chris Brown and Kanye West have all pulled out variations on the style at various points in their career.
