Street Detail: New Age Trenchcoat

streetdetailcoat_main.jpg
The trenchcoat that we’re all familiar with is a long, buttoned-down overcoat fit for the rain. It seems like most brands just go straight for the industry standard look with waterproof materials, descending buttons and a waist strap, but some original variations on the trench style do in fact exist. The jacket worn by this week’s man-on-the-street reflects the Sherlock Holmes look, but in a minimal way'it’s shorter with smaller buttons and no lapels. See the full outfit and breakdown after the jump.
