The Hilarious Side Of Spelling Bees

You thought the NBA finals was the toughest competition going on right now? Wrong. The National Spelling Bee is down to 45 letter-spitting youngin’s who were talented enough to make it to the final day.

With 280+ word masters (the largest turnout in recent years) coming out to try and floss their spell-checking prowess, we hoped there’d be some type of fireworks like there has been in the past. We’re talking little tikes passing out, awkward word pronunciation, and even a tourettes-esque Napolean Dynmaite impersonation. Yup, it all went down in recent years.
