Kick The Tires On The Iced-Out BMW Igloo

Today in Munich, the first ever ice car went on display at the Pinakothek der Moderne museum. Created by Danish artist Olafur Eliasson, the installation called “Your Mobile Expectations” is housed in a refrigerated room within the museum. The artist removed the frame from BMW’s Hydrogen-powered H2R concept car and replaced it with an ice covered shell. The yellow glow at the bottom makes a nice effect that would fit right in on Kanye’s Glow In The Dark Tour. The project will be on display until July 20. See a video of the marvel below.
