Brand Profile: House Of Cassette

cassette.jpg
So much of streetwear is just hype'flash in the pan brands who value eye-catching style over quality and substance. Luckily, House Of Cassette is striving to balance things out with an intense devotion to detail, high-quality materials and subtle unisex designs. Born out of downtown L.A.’s artist district, the punk-influenced brand, which was started by former Puma designer Peter James Lee, carefully crafts everything from denim to t-shirts, sweaters and outerwear. Take a look at some of this Spring’s looks in the gallery after the jump.

What puts this in the ’streetwear’ category? I think you’d be hard pressed to find any body living in the hood wearing this stuff.
