Shawty Lo Answers T.I. On The “Foolish” Remix
This week will be remembered as the moment when the T.I./Shawty Lo beef finally came out of the closet. After throwing subliminals at each other for the last year, they both publicly acknowledged the tension for the first time in separate radio interviews—Tip on ATL’s 107.9, and Lo on Kay Slay’s show.
Now, on the brand new “Foolish” remix, which features DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, Jim Jones and Birdman (on the vocoder!), Lo contunues his quest to bring Tip’s Bankhead origins into question: “Cross your T’s and dot your I’s / I’m the real Bankhead, that’s no lie!” It ain’t exactly an ether, but its the closest either of them have come to saying the other man’s name on record. Shawty Lo is a REAL TRAPPER… HE has 24 seperate charges 4 convictions on his record…
T.I. is a retired trapper since getting famous from rapping… Has not put in nearly as much work into the streets as he did rapping… which is why he is MILES ahead of the competition coming out of ATL…

Why are people talking about these dudes like they know them. I’ll say this, if you in the street and get arrested 28 times and convicted 4 of the 28 and are not in jail. You are a snitch. Come on man seriously 28 arrest and you do 1 year in jail. Who’s the real snitch. Then you come out the gate starting nonsense with someone that has not said a word to you and think you dope because you can get a bunch of idiots to get on camera bustin guns. Then what happens you can’t go home now because you done fell out with the same dudes that was all on your raw report bustin guns and what not. Now you can’t make music with an artist that is ten times your size and you can’t go home so if you don’t sell on your next album you can’t go back to trapping. That’s some dumb shit. That ain’t gangsta at all, you fools in the street need to watch who you looking up to, you want to back up someone who has been locked up 28 times and hasn’t done more than a year total behind bares are you serious. It’s stupid enough that you look up to someone dumb enough to get locked up 28 times and even dumber for thinking that they are not cooperating with them people when everyone but them is locked up.
