Trendhumper: V-Neck Tees

At first, V-neck T-shirts were subtle, dropping just below the collar bone. But these days, it’s as if the Tees are being overwhelmed by the force of gravity, causing the chest to be more exposed than it should be. The unfortunate result: man cleavage.
During the hot summer months, V-necks can be advantageous, giving your chest more room to breathe. But these days, it’s increasingly becoming all about the deep-cut American Apparel style, making it fashionable for dudes to air out their thickets of taco beef (that’s chest hair, in case you’re wondering). With the warm weather creeping up on us this year, the real question is, how low will you go? Vote to “Hump” or “Dump” the trend after the jump.
Look this is and will always be the classic spring/summer must have in-stock tee.
I will admit there is a problem though no one should have a “V”
to the belly button leave the elongated cut to women, and Fancy pants. If you don’t have alot of time to get ready a crisp “V” will do it.

Men, please shave your chest before you rock this!
We girls can’t stand hair peeking out from a collar and this seems like it will open a doorway to a whole tumbleweed.

I live in San Francisco. The only way to tell smelly Lower Haight hipsters from homeless guys on the street is that bums wear efficient crewnecks; the hipsters wear V-necks. Hipsters in the Mission don’t reek of cumin and asshole when you walk by them, but their V-Necks are even lower.
I liked them better when ironic t-shirts were still cool in ‘03.

I live in san diego and people don’t rock the v necks down here. Do a light weight button up or let the taco meat unfurl at the beach.

First 2 look fine, the last one is just too much.

I guess the first two are better, but I still prefer a crew neck tee. I just don’t like the feel of a v-neck.
