Tina Fey’s Baby Mama Delivers A Chick Flick For Dudes

baby_mama.jpg
Before we even get into Baby Mama, we should confess that Complex has a thing for smart (leggy, busty) women who wear glasses and can make us laugh. And MILFs. It goes without saying that we've been Tina Fey fans for years. Her new movie, Baby Mama, is about a 37-year-old single businesswoman (Fey) with a poorly shaped uterus who wants a child so desperately that she hires a trashy surrogate mother (Amy Poehler) to carry her fertilized eggs. Sound like a chick flick? It is, but one that you can safely take a chick to without feeling like you just tucked your dick and put on panties. Despite early Julia Roberts comedy vibes, the film more closely resembles Knocked Up with an estrogen injection. (When was the last time Roberts joked about lubing her coot with PAM non-stick cooking spray?) Fey and Poehler are plenty dirty for our tastes, and comedians Steve Martin (as Fey's boss, the president of an organic food chain who exudes earthy horniness), Romany Malco (Fey's doorman with extensive knowledge of baby mamas), and Dax Shepherd (Poehler's trashy, borderline retarded boyfriend) ratchet things up in their supporting roles. In a date night battle of chick flicks, it's ova…ries. Just be sure that baby mania doesn't overtake your date. Be safe. Go anal. Check out the Baby Mama trailer after the jump.
