The website'which features photos of aspiring models (emphasis on aspiring) holding general release sneakers while making constipated facial expressions'plans to release a calendar this May for $15. Yeah Well Kicks And Chicks And Complex only got problems because of Marc Ecko and The dudes who run kicks and chicks. and now they are taking business shots at eachother…..Turning into Mac and apple or someshit…..I will still rock My J’s and an occasional ecko hoody. so you both win!

I don’t think Mark Ecko would like his name to be made the butt of a joke in any form and definitely not because one of his bloggers had the audacity to say there is something wrong with working with girls from ‘around the way’

I think I will share this with some urban designers and maybe also put a press release out about how you all feel about ‘the girls from around the way’

Respect my place in the industry becasue we will not move and we’re bringing girls from All walks of life into our project b/c they REALLY rock sneakers and they really are sexy, to real guys.
To people who don’t like it, i have no problem. That’s fine.
But again; a war of words in the press is not what you want with a person who’s friends with Ecko’s ex-shoe dealer. And definitely not one of his ex-employees. There’s ssome stories from the Christmas parties that i don’t think Mark would want getting out. They might find it a bit racial in the public eye.
