Terry Kennedy’s Fly Society Takes Off
Skateboard-related rap gets another kick, push in the video for “Fresh” by Fly Society, the new group that includes professional skater Terry Kennedy and former Lil Wayne affiliate Curren$y, along with newcomer Hit and in-house producer Felix. Two years after Lupe Fiasco’s skate anthem turned heads (and a subsequent beef with TK’s camp ensued), Fly Society is building on the ever-expanding fusion of skate and hip-hop by bringing a flossed-out sound to the mix.
