Poppin’ Tags In The Iron Man Video Game

Ghost would be jealous—Tony Stark has enough suits in the new Iron Man video game to outfit the entire Wu. The game (Sega—all consoles) drops the same day as the film: Friday, May 2. Consider our calendar doubly marked.

MARK I: Iron Man’s first-ever suit, which he wears to bust out of captivity. Mad analog, on the Iron Giant tip.

MARK II: A more aerodynamic version of MARK I, built at Stark Industries.

MARK III: The suit we’ve all grown to love with the fresh USC colorway. Can’t front on this.

UNLOCKABLES:

CLASSIC: This throwback appeared in over 200 issues of the Iron Man comic book, debuting in Tales of Suspense #48. Looks like Tony was up on Uggs back in the day.

EXTREMIS: An update on the Classic, this is the joint Iron Man has rocked in his more recent comic adventures.

HULKBUSTER: We call this the HGH suit. Tony Stark developed it to take out the Hulk. Papoose, you taking notes?

CLASSIC MARK I: This one appeared in Iron Man’s first-ever appearance, Tales of Suspense #39, designed by Jack Kirby and Don Heck.

PLATFORM SPECIFIC SUITS

SILVER CENTURION (Xbox 360 only): New colorway! Iron Man was in this suit when he was messing with the West Coast Avengers.

ULTIMATE (PS3 only): Sorry Xbox heads, but PS3 got this one. This is not only a suit of armor, but also operates as a compact vehicle. Sweet.
