Gavin Takes A Break From Putting Babies In Gwen

It may be too far back to remember, but years before Gavin Rossdale was starring in mediocre comic book movies and working as Gwen Stefani’s full-time baby daddy, he was in a little alternative rock band called Bush (You may recall slow dancing to “Glycerine” in middle school). This group of Brits had some hits on their 1994 album, even if they were always a tamer, more radio-friendly rip off of Nirvana.

Well, it seems that ol’ Gav will be taking a break from Daddy Day Care on June 3rd to resurrect his music career as a solo artist with the release of WanderLust. And judging from the first single that plays in the album’s “trailer” (watch it after the jump), fatherhood has turned him into even more of an adult-contemporary soft-rocker. Maybe Gwen will talk him into doing a Lover’s Rock album next.
