The Queen Of Jordan Is Too Sexy For Your Stereotypes

Ever since Lisa Raye became the First Lady of the Turk & Caicos Islands, we’ve realized that nothing quite tops fly female royalty. And when it comes to ladies in power, the cream of the crop has to be Jordan’s Queen Raina.
The 37-year-old mother of four is still most definitely a stunner with style and grace. Look no further than her newly-launched YouTube channel, where she just kicked off a new campaign aimed at repairing East-West relations by debunking popular stereotypes about the Arab World. In her sultry, black and white introduction video, she disses Fox’s 24 and asks for folks from the West to submit videos asking questions about the biggest Middle Eastern stereotypes. Watch the Queen plead her case after the jump.

“a stunner with style and grace…”
“…sultry, black and white introduction video”??
who writes this crap?
there’s NOTHING sultry or sexy about this topic.
why not respect and write about her as one of the few people of royalty who actually cares about real world issues and instead of positioning her as another MILF?

While I also think that Queen Raina should be recognized as one of the few individuals trying to bring about positive change in that region of the world, let us not forget what magazine we are talking about. Complex’s purview, in its coverage of clothes and women, is all things superficial, and I do not mean that in any pejorative sense. I like what Complex does very much, and when I’m looking for serious dialogue on issues that shape our world I turn to the Economist, the Athlantic, a NY times.
I turn to Complex for a look at clothes and women, and in the process of their coverage of All-Things-Pretty if they manage to cross-sect that with a person beautiful outside (foremost) AND inside as well, all the better! …and she IS a stunner!
