The Armory Show Keeps NYC Artsy Fartsy

The Armory Show opens it's tenth anniversary at Pier 94 in New York City this Thursday, continuing through Sunday, March 30th. Stop in for all the tight black fashion/apathetic global art steez you can handle, including the top 150 International Galleries showing contemporary work by living artists. After the jump, check out work commissioned by the foundation with art psycho/filmmaker John Waters and painter Mary Heilmann to commemorate the late founders, Pat Hearn and Colin de Land.

Baltimore Artist John Waters and New York artist Mary Heilmann were put to the task of creating the visual identity of this year's show, the tenth anniversary of its creation.
