12070021-022_highres.jpg
Technically, this fully ruggedized Dell notebook was designed for government and commercial customers, but it is available to the general public as well. The Latitude XFR D630 meets strict military standards when it comes to handling: extreme temperatures, shock/drop, moisture, altitude, and just about anything else that you can throw at it. It’s housed in a solid die cast magnesium alloy chassis, includes a shock isolated protection for hard drives and the LCD, plus a sealed keyboard that can withstand driving rain and dust. Check out the performance specs here. So if you’re in the market for a computer that’s works in the harshest environments or are just clumsy, this notebook is for you.
