The Giants Get Their Design On

Superbowl champion NY Giants’ defensive linemen Justin Tuck and Micheal Strahan hit the Nike ID studio yesterday to create two unique styles of sneakers that will be sold exclusively at the ID studio in NYC, with proceeds benefiting Nike’s Let Me Play global campaign. Tuck who told us that he stocks over 200 pair of kicks choose to do a Big Blue colorup on a Dunk Hi, after receiving creative consulting from resident sneaker head, and overly-excited Giant supporter DJ Clark Kent.

Strahan went with the under the radar Air Force 25 lows, that spawned some jeers from Tuck and former NY Giant, now Green Bay Packers running back Ryan Grant. Strahan shook-off the criticism from the youngins in the room with a response of “I already won,” refereeing to the friendly competition of which design would sell better between him and Tuck. Money earned from the low-run special make-ups will go toward the building of sporting venues nationally.
