The Wire Cast Hits NYC

Cast members of HBO's smart and gritty series The Wire hit NYC for a soundtrack signing last week at the HBO store. Brooklyn-bred actor Jamie Hector, who plays the cold-blooded and calculated Marlo Stanfield was joined by his on-screen muscle Gbenga Akinnagbe who plays the murderous Chris Partlow. The good guys of The Wire, Clarke Peters who plays Detective Lester Freamon and Corey Parker Robinson who plays Detective Leandor Sydnor were also on hand signing a slew of merchandise like the recently released “The Wire” soundtrack' a compilation disc of five years of music from the show.
