Steven Spielberg’s Boom Blox

Billed as the “must-have Wii game for Summer 2008,” EA presents Boom Blox, the first game of three being developed in collaboration with super director/producer Steven Spielberg. Although it was specifically designed for the kiddies, it looks like the quintessential stoner game with it’s rather simple gameplay and cast of wacky tripped out characters. It kind of reminds us of a HIGHLY updated version of arcade classic Breakout, but with much more sophisticated graphics, rumbling explosions, and flying critters to boot. Additionally, there’s all sorts of custom features, allowing players to actually remix any level of the game and build out anything they can dream of. Boom Blox is set for release this May.
