adidas Gil II Zero Halo Sneaker

adidas_profile.jpg
Although he’s sidelined with a knee injury, the roll out of twenty different signature sneakers continues for Gilbert Arenas. Next up, an on-court shoe inspired by Gilbert’s gaming obsession—more specifically his love for Halo. Spread throughout the uppers are design cues taken from the uber-popular game, including different types of AK’s and Semi’s. According to adidas, Arenas banks 8 hours of X-Box Live on off-season weekends playing Halo and also sponsors the #1 Halo team in the world—a collective called “Final Boss.” These special make-ups will be ultra-limited clocking in at only 100 pairs globally. If you’re trying to lock them down, look out for them to hit select stores on February 8 (or enter to win all 20 here), the date Arenas was supposed to wear them on the hardwood. We hope he got the Microsoft paper up front. Get well soon Hibachi.

  2. This is cool that they are making a pair of Halo shoes and I would try to get a hold of a pair is they weren’t sport shoes or looked the way they did.

I think its ironic that the people these shoes are aimed for aren’t really associated with doing any sports.

  3. So you can’t be athletic and like to play Halo at the same time?

Personally, I think the shoes looks cool and I would probably get them if I could.
