Gearing Up, ‘Cocaine Cowboys’ Style

miamichopper.jpg
We’ve already mentioned our approval of Cocaine Cowboys, a documentary about the rise of drug kingpins in Miami during the 80’s. It’s been billed as “the real Scarface” and will be followed up by what looks like a great sequel. To celebrate the historically rich culture of yay and the success of the documentaries, Rakontur, the filmmaker, released this line of coca inspired tees. They feature images of the “Miami Chopper” (the notorious name ascribed to the MAC-10, a favorite of the drug lords), “The Mutiny Club” (the decadent hangout and playground for the drug-addicted elite in Miami that required a brass membership card with the eye-patched pirate logo for entry), and of course the naturalistic “Coca Leaves” (the plant from which cocaine is processed and a favorite chewable of indigenous South Americans). Cop ‘em here.
