Daewon Song is ten years deep as far as signature skate-shoes go, and for his latest model, the goofy-footed Korean wanted to take an athletic design approach. Besides increasing durability by having the suede eyestay and ollie panel constructed in one-piece, the toe panel of the shoe has serious behind-the-scenes detailing in order to prevent blowouts. In layman’s terms, don’t expect these to fall apart anytime soon. 10 years from now we’ll still be on top? Bet on black.
