• Standing room only: Jay-Z and rumored wifey Beyonce attended Milan Fashion Week and sat front row for the Versace runway show. The Post’s gossipers claim that some fashion big wig was asked to relinquish his seat so Beyonce’s bodyguard could sit. The original story can be found here and here. You Hov’d out yet? • The cradle: Tenants of a Bronx building that’s been designated as the birthplace of Hip Hop have a plan to buy the property so they keep the apartments affordable, and maintain the historic site where rap pioneer DJ Kool Herc used to spin records.

• Pumped up: The New York Times looks at allegations of rappers using steroids and decides to quotes idiot “Hip Hop author” Jeff Chang, “There’s always the battle aesthetic at work, this idea that you’re going to go up there and show that you’re badder than everybody else. It’s part of the swagger that hip-hop carries.”

• Squashed: DJ Green Lantern has got nothing but love for G-Unit. Although he got caught up in a spat between 50’s crew and D-Block back in ‘05, it’s all good now as you can see in this clip of Green chilling with 50, Tony Yayo and Prodigy.
