  • Juicing: Move over Barry Bonds. What do 50 Cent, Timbaland, Mary J. Blige, Wyclef and Tyler Perry all have in common? They’ve all been named in a buying steroids investigation.
  • In clan fighting: Is this more evidence of Wu-Tang’s utter dysfunction? U-God is suing Wu Music, the group’s own music label, claiming they owe him $170k. He’s had some trouble with the ‘Clan’ before, even leaving them in 2004 in a dispute with RZA.
  • 24/7: Ice Cube is on a roll. Not only is he dropping a new album and starring in a movie, but he’s also helping launch UVNTV.com, billed as the world’s first online television network in conjunction with Microsoft. The site is live but the official launch is still a few months away.
  • Presidential: When Barack Obama and his wife arrived at his victory party for winning the Iowa caucus, Hovie’s “99 Problems” was reportedly playing and some claim it was intention. Citing the chorus, “I got 99 problems, but a bitch ain’t one,” as a dig at Hillary Clinton.
