Ryan Lombardi Chuck Taylor

Artist #16 of 100 of Converse’s year-long collaboration project, is Ryan Lombardi, a graduation of the Art Institute of Philadelphia whose background is rooted in graphic design, and graffiti. For this Chuck Taylor, Lombardi wanted to incorporate things that symbolized “Red” and “100” so he took design cues from Redwood Trees—trees that usually live to be hundreds of years old. See the connection? The dude is crafty. These drop this month, and Lombardi also has a special make-up Jack Purcell that’ll drop as part of the 1Hund(Red) Artists series.
