Jon Stewart Back On the Air: First As A Simpson, Second As A Talk Show Host

Although we feel for those highly paid striking writers who provide much of the mindless blather for the entertainment industry and agree that studios should be compensating them'for both DVD sales and internet revenue'the whole fiasco hasn’t really affected us too much sans our favorite “news” program: The Daily Show. After more than two months off the air, Jon Stewart is returning to your TVs. First he’s doing a stint on The Simpsons this Sunday night, followed by his own ‘Daily Show’ the following night. Unfortunately for the public at large (oh, and the writers) Comedy Central wasn’t able to strike a deal like Letterman did, so the prompter-fed funnymen will be tasked with returning to the air next week writer-less. Come to think of it, this should actually be pretty funny after all.
