Fedor Proves ‘The Bigger They Are, the Harder They Fall’ Adage

fedor_hong.jpg

Last time we checked in with Fedor Emelianenko, the six-foot, 230 pound Russian MMA fighter was readying for his fight against the seven-foot plus, 360 pound, Korean giant Hong Man Choi. Well, that match didn’t last long at all. Fedor forced the ‘Techno Goliath’ to tap out via armbar before the end of the first round. To be fair, we should point out that the Pride fighting rules used in the match didn’t allow knee strikes due to the weight differential, putting the Asian kickboxer at a bit of a disadvantage. He wasn’t able to pull off one of these.

    Umm… okay, two things:

    1. Does that ref have pigtails?
    2. At the :22 second mark, does the ref touch both fighters’ balls? See, that is exactly why I don’t compete in MMA. Well that, and because I’m a pussy.
