Rap Sheet: “J-A-Y Are the Letters Of His Name”

- In a J.A.M.: What do DMC, Snoop Dogg, Raekwon, Marley Marl, LL, M.O.P, Biz Markie, Mobb Deep, A Tribe Called Quest, EPMD, Chuck D, Everlast, Dead Prez, Lord Finesse, Bumpy Knuckles, and Jim Jones have in common? They all rhymed as a tribute to Jam Master Jay last night. Check out Rock’ographer’s flickr for the whole shebang!
- Eat a what?: When Rhapsody asked Ghostface about Tony Yayo’s claim that rapper Superb had written Supreme Clientele, the Wu-Tang brawler stated rather eloquently, “Yayo can suck a fat d*ck.”
- A toss-up: Akon will face criminal charges after that fan throwing incident. Mind you, not by the kid that was tossed, but by some girl he landed on.
- Still hood: Fat Joe explains why he ain’t like other rappers, “As far as being in the streets, I never left the streets. I'm in the streets. I risk my life going to the clubs where no rapper can go. I'm in the hood. I know what the people want. I know what they sayin' about me. I know what they want to hear. I have never been able to be bougie.”
