Lil Wayne and Kristen Bell Cover Our New Issue
This past year came and went with a quickness. It seemed like yesterday that Weezy F graced our Dec/Jan cover as the King of our “Men Of Next Year.” Yup, we called it. Wayne owned ‘07 thanks to an insane amount of mixtape drops and a step-up in skills only we could predict. Back for take two, we reconnected with the Young Money millionaire, and like his previous Q&A (remember he said he was better than Hovie?) he held nothing back.
On handling beef himself:
“You’d expect me to pay somebody to do it? You supposed to be able to do anything in this world. That’s what Martin Luther King told me. He ain’t never put a specific on what to [do]. He said you can do anything. ‘Kill’ falls under that.”
On his lifestyle:
“If I was born behind a desk, boy, you should just have killed me. It’s kind of like a nigga with no dick living in the Playboy mansion.”
On the Clipse:
“I thought the whole ‘Mr. Me Too’ video was about me, to tell you the damn truth. They think I want to be like them. I’m on a million-dollar bus going around the world charging people from $50,000 to $150,000 for verses, and I got 77 songs in magazines and I got a billion more. Do the math; you think I’m trying to be like you? No sir.”

Word To Publication, Complex is the only magazine I might pick up. Well I pick up National Geographic from time to time for the Bitches and shit. Weezy is quite hilarious and he is kinda dope but Clipse > Weezy on his best day.

Wayne ain’t on shit. He talks in circles in raps. Maybe if he’d stop getting high, talking about martians, and getting head maybe just maybe he’d make it somewhere. He’s been in the game 13 years and only made five albums? Thats says millions about where his career is going. 77 songs this year and did any of them do anything on the charts? Is nominated for any awards? Is doing anything to help hip-hop or to bring down? Lil wayne is a waste studio time and anybody who buys his five dollars mixtape should be ashamed.
