There’s not many world records that impress us, but being able to carry the most beer steins in one shot is well worthy of global praise. Reinhard Wurtz carried 20 one-liter steins of beer, smashing the previous title of 16 steins by a German barmaid (ironically, Wurtz was technically born in the beer capital of the world, Bavaria, Germany and just recently because an Australian citizen). Keep in mind, with each glass weighing in at around 5 lbs each, Wurtz was able to haul over 110 lbs worth of beer for the record. That’s like carrying a keg with one hand.
