Rap Sheet: Spoiling For A Fight

- Disfunctional family: Ghostface fired the first shot, and now Raekwon answers back, breaking down the internal rumblings of the Wu-Tang Clan.
- The 18th Letter: ThugLifeArmy caught up with Rakim after a concert in San Francisco. Staying true to his “It ain’t where you from, it’s where you at” lyric, the “R” discussed how “unique regional backgrounds” is a good thing. He also mentions how journalists act like papparazzi nowadays.
- ‘Gangster’ ban: Jay-Z won’t be posting up his American Gangster concept album on iTunes, citing it as a “work of art.” He wants you to listen to the whole album, and not just download individual tracks.
- Undiplomatic: When denied entry to Chris Brown’s album release party at NYC hotspot Tenjune, rappers Juelz Santana and Jim Jones were very unhappy to say the least. As were their entourage, who started tearing up the place. [via]
