New DALEK Prints Are State-of-the-Art
With DALEK basically selling out his last gallery show and original works selling for well over $8k a pop, these 21-color prints might be your next best option for scoring some of the artist’s work while still being able to pay your rent. Produced by The Decoder Ring print shop, the color-popping prints were limited to 100 with only 80 available to the public. The pricing is tiered based on availability so it pays to get to the front of the line:
The first 50 orders will be $250. The next 15 will be $275 and the final 15 will be $300. One customer will be eligible for a free doodled test print which can be viewed at the end of the view process feature.
The print process took a grueling 80 hours and 26 screens to make. All prints are made of Coventry Rag Archival paper and measure 18×24 inches. They’re also signed, numbered, and embossed. Check out the website for some close-ups and even a feature that shows you the printing process.

yo. the guy will grab over 20 Gs for two weeks of work (maybe less). Grueling 80 hours? Yo I’ll work for two weeks if you want to pay me 20 Gs.

Well considering it’s took him over 10 years to establish himself it works out to more like 87, 600 hours, but who’s really counting right? Point being, a 21 color print that takes 26 screens to make, is a “grueling process” no matter what.
