Hibachi Scores For The Kids
When he’s not fantasizing about Halle Berry, Gilbert Arenas is giving back to DC’s public school system. The Washington Wizards guard is selecting 82 of 245 public schools from the DC area in which he will donate a $100 a point to throughout the season. 41 schools will receive cash for every point Arenas nets at home that will come out of his own pocket, and Wizards owner Abe Pollin will shell out the money for schools reaping the benefit of Gilbert’s play on the road. Besides the charitable donations, adidas hooked up a “Scores for Schools” Gil II Zero that will release in February, one of 20 kicks in the Arenas arsenal.
